Warner Accepts Position at Saint Louis University

March 5, 2012

There's no place like home. For Chezna Warner, PA-C, physician assistant at Lindsborg Community Hospital and Lindsborg Rural Health Clinic, home is St. Louis, MO. Warner has accepted a teaching position at St. Louis University. The physician assistant program at SLU was among the first twelve programs in the country, and for the last five years has a 98% first-time pass rate for new graduates for the PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam). Warner will be an instructor at the Doisy College of Health Sciences, and will continue to work in a family practice clinic, as well.

Employed at LCH/LRHC since February 2010, Chezna's role has been to provide services to the patients of Lindsborg and the surrounding Smoky Valley communities. Warner and Sheri Floyd, PA-C, provide coverage of the emergency department and provide services to Clinic patients.

"I am very grateful for the service the Chezna has provided to our organization and to the patients we serve. She, her husband and boys have been a good addition to our community and we hate to see them leave. At the same time, being close to home is important to me and I am happy that she has that opportunity to return to her hometown. We wish her nothing but the best," stated CEO Larry Van Der Wege.

Warner's last day at LCH/LRHC is March 15.
