Speech and Language Pathology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The causes may include a neurological event (spinal cord or brain injury, stroke) a neuromuscular disorder (MD, MS, ALS, Parkinson's disease) disease, injury or genetic factors.
