Lindsborg Community Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Sara Teague, D.O., to the Family Health Care Clinic. Dr. Teague joins LCH after completing her residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine in Salina.

Dr. Teague practices family medicine and provides care for patients of all ages. Her areas of interest include preventive care, chronic disease management and women’s health. She also has experience caring for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings with an emphasis on rural medicine.

“I’m very excited to join LCH,” Dr. Teague said. “The staff members have been great, and I am looking forward to working with them. Our family has been welcomed to Lindsborg with open arms. We love this community!”

Dr. Teague’s husband, Zak Tazkargy, M.D., also recently joined the Family Health Care Clinic and began seeing patients in Lindsborg in May.

Dr. Teague earned her doctor of osteopathy from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Joplin, Mo., and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in life sciences. During her residency, she received training in full spectrum medicine, obstetrics and women’s health.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Sara Teague to Lindsborg Community Hospital and the Family Health Care Clinic this September,” said Mark Rooker, administrator at LCH. “Dr. Teague brings exceptional clinical training, a passion for providing comprehensive primary care and a special interest in women’s health. Her expertise will expand access to primary care services for individuals and families throughout Lindsborg and the surrounding communities. We are excited for our patients to experience her compassionate approach to care and are proud to welcome her to our medical staff and to the Lindsborg community.”

The community is invited to a special meet-and-greet event for Dr. Teague and her husband, Dr. Tazkargy, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, July 24, at Crown and Rye on Main Street in Lindsborg. Community members are encouraged to attend and meet the newest additions to the LCH provider team.
